The Baum Records is a baumkuchen (baum cake) of the type popular in Japan but with a major, and innovative, difference.
Created by the Takamatsu-based confectionary maker La Famille as a unique gift item, the spit cake resembles an vinyl record and has been launched commercially in Japan after a crowd-funding campaign.
