The latest intriguing themed eatery to open in the Tokyo area is the Beauty & the Beast Cafe & Restaurant, located rather incongruously in Yokohama’s Chinatown.
Diners can experience the world of the classic fairy tale across three brilliantly detailed areas: the Tavern, the Beast’s Lair and the Palace Floor.
The restaurant actually opened in August but has been creating buzz online this month. From the chandeliers to the walls and even the windows, the atmosphere of the fairy tale truly comes to life. This is definitely going to be a must-see place for any Disney fan.
There is no suggestion that this restaurant is in any way linked to Disney, though it does serve as a neat promo for the new Beauty and the Beast film coming out next year.
The menu is also themed, of course, including a Belle set and special latte art.
